> Project: Clean Samatra, Green Samatra
In 2003, a campaign was launched to go green. This was to mark the upcoming 250th Anniversary of Samatra, and to prepare for the celebrations in 2005. The Clean Samatra, Green Samatra project was born.
Through contributions from many individuals, overseas and local community funds raised through various functions and celebrations and the local government support, a large number of projects where undertaken.
